We are currently seeking an experienced
professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
To
support the Head of Business Management in achieving the strategic objectives
of the business and ensure appropriate business plans exist in support of
agreed objectives. The objectives include but are not limited to the below
categories:
-Drive the strategic direction of the
customer agenda by understanding customer needs and driving improvement through
change
-Support the coordination, agreement and
implementation of strategic plans for CMB China
-Business strategy implementation related process
optimization, streamlining, improvement and communications
-Staffing, training, talent management and
retention
-Prepare objectives setting, scorecard and
performance tracking for CMB China and RM loading evaluation
-Provide management meeting preparation,
support and follow up for CMB China
-Other strategic or Group / ASP initiated
projectsImpact
on the Business / Function
-To develop and deploy an effective customer
experience framework / strategy which improves customer satisfaction rated by surveys
and internal stakeholders' feedbacks
-To implement change/transformation
initiatives, including the Global/Regional Initiatives, supporting in
implementing these initiatives and implementing key governance mechanisms to
ensure strategic initiatives are robust, aligned and effectively delivered
-To improve business efficiency through the
execution of key streamlining, re-engineering and cost saves initiatives across
bank's processes
-To provide senior executive level updates
to provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis of the progress of various
programs and work streams, the impact on the business and intervention where
necessary
-To contribute to the development,
implementation and maintenance of management information, analysis and
reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business
management and decision making at all levels
-To support for other CMB strategic projects
under business implementation
-Improve visibility and drive consistency
and discipline in cost management practices across CMB
-To ensure consistent and effective reach of
CMB initiatives and key message cascading across ChinaCustomers
/ Stakeholders
-Meets the needs of CMB internal and
external customers with formulation and implementation of relevant business
strategies and initiatives while maximizing profits and operational
efficiencies
-Work with business analytics to establish a
holistic understanding of our commercial customers / products via analytics
-Cultivates a services and sales culture with
robust customer experience frameworks Key

-CMB frontline / senior management
-ASP COO office
-CMB Business Finance
-Communications (HBCN and ASP CMB)
-CMB Marketing
-HOSTLeadership
& Teamwork
-Works closely with other members within the
team to ensure that activities are executed in line with business objectives
-Leverages relationships with other
analytical teams as relevant
-Share knowledge, experience and best
practices within and outside of immediate team
-Works with line management to develop an
action plan to address areas for improvement and development opportunities to
increase engagement.

-Act as an ambassador for the team and
contribute fully to its development, effectiveness and success.Operational

-Supports CMB in achieving its strategic
growth targets whilst concurrently maintaining a healthy balance sheet, enhance
operational efficiency and optimize cost savings
-Develops, initiates and implements business
process optimization, process streamlining and best practice sharing
-Considers fairness in all aspects of
strategy, product design & delivery, processes, customer literature &
correspondence, financial promotions, administration and complaint handling.

-Highly developed analytical skills to
extract information from data and translate to business language &
financial impacts

experience in customer centered design and aptitude to leverage on analytics to
extract customer insights for business / improvement opportunities
-Strong interpersonal skills with highly
developed capacity to influence senior teams
-Excellent oral and written communication,
presentation and influencing skills
-Proven problem solving skills with ability
to consider alternative and innovative solutions
-Ability to manage both own & team time
effectively to ensure delivery of multiple projects
-Ability to prioritise and work
independently under pressure within a team environment
-Ability to filter and prioritise multiple
demands, resolve conflicts, and develop consensus
-Meticulous attention to detail
-Candidate with less experience could be
considered for a GCB5 roleDesired
:
-Experience of managing and delivering
cross-functional programmes
-Project management skills with experience
of working under Agile environment
-Experience with the frontline or in a role
with direct exposure to client engagement or customer journey(s)
-Directly relevant analytical experience
within financial services or an alternative data driven organization
-Strong working understanding of database
theory, applied statistics
-A high level knowledge of available
software tool set (e.g., SAS, SQL, COGNOS, etc.), data management best
practices and internal Bank systems. You’ll achieve more
