HSBC Marketing exists to drive top-line revenue growth for our Global Businesses by leveraging clearly identified marketplace opportunities, brand strength, customer insights and creative passion to yield sustainable long-term growth for the budgets and resources deployed. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team. In this role, you will: This role aims to drive the marketing strategy and plan for China PRD and Greater Bay (GBA) to support HSBC's growth ambitions in this area, activating PRD and GBA proposition campaigns, building brand leadership, connecting business opportunities, driving communications, sponsorships and events. The role will be also a connector between PRD, HK, Macau and the wider Asia Region on all China Greater Bay activities. The job holder will be based in Guangzhou using marketing insight to identify opportunities, formulate recommendations, develop partnerships and take forward new initiatives: The role holder is responsible for:

?Being the subject matter expert on PRD and GBA with a comprehensive understanding of government policies, regulations and internal business factors impacting the business and customer needs both now and in the future.

?Closely interact with business stakeholders, building trust, ensuring that the outcome of any marketing investment ultimately supports strategic objectivs, business goals, differentiates HSBC from its competitors, providing customers and prospects with compelling reasons to choose HSBC.

?The role holder must have an ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across a matrix, understand how to support PRD/GBA strategy under an overall HSBC China's strategy and operation, while collaborating between PRD and HK/Macau

?Clearly articulating through the business brief and other means, business requirements and what this means for marketing.

?Work closely with business and marketing partners to develop integrated Marketing strategies to support revenue maximization and market/wallet share for the strategic product or solution, in alignment with the broader PRD strategy.

?Lead and deliver the marketing plan for PRD and GBA, including leveraging the most appropriate resources to deliver marketing activities, communication campaigns, events and partnership.

?Work with the Customer Strategy and Insight team to provide insight and expertise that contributes to the strategic conversation around how PRD and GBA fit together to build client-centric solutions.

?Support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behavior, actions and decision making.

?Developing strategic partnership in focused sectors and channels to support overall acquisition platform built-up and facilitate sales activities

?Analyzing campaign performance and demonstrating ROI on campaign activity and beyond, working on continual improvement.

?Managing marketing budget for areas of responsibilities.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

The role holder should demonstrate a good understanding of key trends, customer insights and business challenges of PRD and GBA. Based in Guangzhou, the rold holder is required to be highly self motivated and proactive. Understand areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with our target customers and our internal stakeholders. These should include digital marketing, new technology, business partnership, agile working practices, data and analytical tools and how this helps us to be more customer centric.

?Degree level of qualification in marketing, digital marketing and/or business studies preferred

?Minimum 5 years broad based B2B commercial marketing experience, ideally within a Financial Services based institution

?A range of Marketing Communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and delivering campaign strategies and multi-channel campaigns

?Channel marketing experience in building business partnership

?Excellent analytical skills and experience managing ROI targets

?Demonstrable passion for testing and learning new approaches to channel usage

?Experience of working with and managing agencies of creative, media, social, PR and event

?Proven track record of implementing campaigns/assets

?Experience of working with senior business leaders and business teams over multiple sites

?Ability to think innovatively, shape and communicate new concepts

?Proven ability to work on multi function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills

?Proven ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box

?Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities

?Diplomacy/consensus-building across the organisation
