In charge of the Merck China entities with regards to all Accounting and Reporting related issues, in particular day-to-day accounting operations, and project supporting
Key Accountabilities (Describe the 6-8 main results of the job to be achieved)
- Enhance the communication between HQs ,intercompany counterparts and local legal entities, Ensure the effective implements about the guidelines from HQs to the local legal entities
- Ensure accounting governance in daily operation
Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance will be measured)

- Correct GL entry booking.
- Perform I/C charge out for Emerald entities based on Merck Guideline. 
- Perform banking postings for Emerald entities and have good collaboration with local Treasury team. 
- Coordinate and effective control in month end closing.
- Submit IFRS & PRC report packages for assigned companies following the corporate instructions on the monthly/quarterly/annual basis and support team to catch up the reporting deadline.
- Ensure Balance sheet account cleanup and timely reconciliation with good quality.
- Participate in the financial projects to improve system efficiency & enhance internal control.
- Cooperate with finance team to complete statutory report for assigned legal entities.
- Other ad hoc assignments from line manager.

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Background (State the preferred education, qualification and experience level)
EDUCATION:
? Bachelor Degree in Accounting, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
? Chinese Accounting Certification;
LANGUAGE:
? English and Mandarin(must)
EXPERIENCE:
? Good English in listening, writing and reading and speaking 
? Effective communication skill 
? SAP experience is a must, high PC skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & related Finance system.
? At least 3 years of relevant working experiences, MNC preferred
? Strong sense of responsibility
? Independent, mature and organized?
