JOBPURPOSE:

To provide study/project leadershipfor statistical support according toglobal project strategies.

SUPERVISEDRESOURCES:

Statisticalgroup in China B&P

KEYACCOUNTABILITIES:

？  Independent contributor with limited supervisionneeds in development of protocol designs, clinical plans, and statisticalanalysis plans in collaboration with project teams

？  To provide timely input in the establishment of areporting database and to ensure that the data analyses are

appropriate and the results interpretations areaccurate

？  To equip with scientific and clinical knowledgerelevant to ongoing projects

？  To identify issues in working process and makerecommendations

JOB-HOLDERENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

MS or PhD in Statistics or a related field

Experience & knowledge:  

？  3+ years (PhD) or 4+ years (MS) of pharmaceutical orrelated industry experience with clinical trials

？  Extended understanding of statistical concepts andmethodologies.

Core competencies:

？  Ability to apply statistical methods to solve realworld problems

？  Sufficient SAS programming skill and capability touse other statistical software for simulation and sample size calculation

Sound communication ability, both oral and written.
