Responsibilities:

Support localization programs for APAC international growth team, by interacting with global programs teams and APAC clients.

Understand the internal translation tool, and coordinate trainings, reporting dashboards and improve adoption of tool amongst internal Google users.

Assist APAC programs leads on identifying adoption opportunities & business leads for localization programs.

Act as interpreter - written or spoken material into one or more other languages, ensuring meaning and context are maintained.

Translate business documents and marketing assets from English into a second language, primarily Chinese.

Attend client meeting & consultations meeting and share feedback to APAC program manager.

Might need to work beyond normal working hours (need to work across time-zones).

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree, good understanding of grammar, good interpersonal communication, values accuracy, good attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, ability to work under pressure

Fluency in English and at least two APAC languages (Chinese language is a must, the other languages preferably Japanese or Korean)

1-2 years experience or freshman with related intern experience

Analytical mindset.

First-hand experience in working/living in multinational environments.
