Financial Crime Risk (FCR)
Financial Crime Risk (FCR) is a Global Function that brings together all areas of financial crime risk management at HSBC and is dedicated to implementing the most effective global standards to combat financial crime. The function has been set up in a way that enables us to build on our achievements in managing financial crime risk effectively across the bank and continue to strengthen financial crime detection, anti-money laundering, sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption compliance. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team. In this role, you will:
Assist to working within the FCR network for the Global Risk business, the individual is responsible for assisting the support to establish a consistent and effective approach to financial and control management for all functional areas.
This role will require the individual to assume a proactive, collaborative role across the Risk areas and the business partners to ensure the creation and ongoing management of an operationally "excellent" organization.
Impact on the Business
? Assist to implement a consistent and effective approach to business management across the functional areas.
? Assist to ensure the identification and implementation of best practice across the organization to enable the highest operational standards.
? Assist to co-ordinate the departmental requirements across the Country, Functional and Regional teams to meet all global processes and deadlines.
? Assist to define and implement communications plan in conjunction with Global Risk Communications team
? Key point of contact for department head
? Manage daily activities and scheduling for FCR department and related business trips etc.
? Assist and receive internal and external visitors on behalf of FCR department.
? Handles telephone calls and correspondence and deal with all queries
? Act as departmental point of reference in respect of general office administration.
? Total control of complex diaries, scheduling/rescheduling appointments ensuring preferred style/know wishes are conveyed
? Arrange annual dinner, team building related activities
? Facilitate various meeting and conferences including the related snacks/beverage order from proper channel
? Prioritize and effectively manage a large volume of internal and external meeting requests to agreed timescales and often across different time zones setting up WebEx, video or telephone conference facilities
? Meeting room booking for departmental event and per FCR head request.
? Monitor FCR head email to ensure deadlines are met and reply to and formulate correspondence when necessary.
? Expense processing for FCR head.
? Buysmart / e travel administration and timely reminder to FCR head for approval
? Departmental event organization including off-sites, town halls, team building, family day, annual dinner, food ordering, and etc.
? Extensive travel arrangements together with visa applications
? Travel bill review to ensure accuracy.
? FCR circulars distribution.
? Facilities Management JLL contact point and circulation

? Assist to build strong relationships, adopt a joined up approach, to execute processes at pace and with minimum conflict
? Assist to ensure that internal and external regulatory requirements are met.
? Assist to ensuring that the business operates using accepted industry – standard methodologies, practices, processes and principles.
? Assistance of innovation and improvement of methodologies, through adoption of best practice and continued professional development and ensuring these meet required standards and regulations.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
? Assist to ensure that all staff and activities comply with existing regulations and auditory requirements.
? Assist to ensure organizational compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of our businesses.

Qualifications / Experience
? University graduate preferably with a degree in IT, Accounting, Management or Finance.
? Experience in a service company model.
? Previous background of working in a matrix organizational structure
? Effective written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
? Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
? Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a global organization
? Investment Banking/IT
? Project Management
Strong relationship management with a focus on financial and budget requirements. Able to work with individuals at different levels
