post-trade activity for all Global Markets across 60 countries. With a drive
towards infrastructure transformation, a heightened focus on risk and control,
and the need to deliver seamless client service, Global Markets Operations
plays a dynamic and ever-evolving role in harnessing the latest technology and
specialist expertise to move us closer to a globally consistent, competitive
and robust operating model.

We are currently seeking an experienced
professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
-Ensure that all transactions traded by
Markets are properly processed according to FIM and local regulatory
requirements until all obligations under the contract have been properly
fulfilled by both counterparties.
-Ensure care and prudence is in place during
validation, affirmation, confirmation and settlement process.
-Maintain and ensure observance of HSBC
Internal Control Standards, foster a compliance culture and implement Group
Compliance Policy.
-Maintain high service standard to clients
by handling clients inquires promptly and providing high quality and
professional services.
-Maintain risk awareness and ensure prompt
escalation to management.
-Handle operational risk properly with risk
identification, assessment, mitigation, control, loss identification and
reporting.

-?Ensure proper processing of Markets
transactions and identify errors before they turn into operations loss
incidents or impact clients
-Perform escalation as per agreed
thresholds.
-Maintain robust controls around the
operations under their responsibility
-Prepare new procedure or revise existing
procedure as a result of changes in external or internal environment.
-Provide high quality and professional
services to clients.
-Respond to business queries/requests timely
and properly, without compromising of control principles.
-Team player.
-Be able to join up and engage with others
to deliver outputs.
-DIB and Procedure Manuals are in place to
guide daily operations.
-Identify efficiency improvement opportunity
continuously.
-Maintain high control standards in the
remit to effectively manage operational risks.
