Job Summary

The Medical Intelligencefunction works to drive optimal use of Pasteur Vaccine. We do this partneringwith internal and external customers in providing high quality intelligence solutionsand insights to aid decision making in the care of patients.

The Medical Intelligence Officerrole works in researching, creating and delivering balanced responses tomedical queries across the Pasteur portfolio from doctors/pharmacists throughour sales force. In addition the MIO is responsible for creating Local StandardResponse Documents based on actual and anticipated customer demand for alignedproducts. Internally, the MIO works closely with Product Teams in sharingCustomer Insights from our customer interaction and supporting Product Teaminitiatives requiring medical intelligence input.

KEY RESULT AREAS & JOB ACTIVITIES /TASKS

1. CustomerMedical Solutions Direct and indirect CustomerSupport (via Pasteur Sales team and internal MSL)

-ResearchingMedical Solutions to external customer queries (doctors, pharmacists, patients)across the Pasteur portfolio and therapy areas

-Creating(local standard response documents and customized) medical responses tocustomers

-Deliveringmedical solutions verbally, in writing or through presentations. Also involvedin other channels of communicating with customers such as internet, conferenceswhere appropriate.

2. Internalsupport to Pasteur colleagues on intelligence needs to achieve business goals

-Work withinternal aligned Product teams on Medical Intelligence needs – includingproactively in identifying emerging medical/scientific data that could be ofimportance to product strategy

-Executeindependently on expert searches to input to Medical strategy

-Assist MAon the input to development or updating of customer friendly Package Insertsfor aligned products

3. CustomerInsights

-Providebusiness with insights/business leads from daily interaction with internal customerson a regular basis

-Input toteam portfolio reports and ad hoc market research reports

4.Maintenance, Improvement and Promotion of the Service

-Assist inmaintaining, improving and promoting the Medical Intelligence service throughproactive recommendations for process improvements and leading of selectprojects where competency shown

BACKGROUNDREQUIREMENTS

1. Educational /Training

-Minimum ofUniversity Degree and Professional Medical/Pharmacy Qualification, Masterdegree is preferable

2. Working Experiences

-Minimum 1year related working experience, referable pharmaceutical industry but clinicalpractice also relevant
