Global Risk

Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Credit Support Assistant, Loan Management Unit (LMU), Wholesale Credit & Market Risk (WMR).

In this role, you will:

·Handle routine tasks, including daily reports, such as weekly exception reports; monthly reports such as Hong ·Kong Portfolio and Taiwan Portfolio reports, WWM reports and Accounts Triggered Reports, etc. Help the whole team to monitor the risky customers and industries via data from these reports.

·Monitor external information, such as customer news, industrial fluctuation and regulatory information, finish related consolidation for the information, to help with risk identification and ensure the safety of relevant bank loan. Track credit risk-related information closely and finish relevant reports, such as EDF, KMV reports and etc.

·Support LMU managers to monitor the assigned specific portfolio.

·Proficiently use HUB, CARM, RIDMS, Ondemand and other bank systems to finish the data extraction and monitoring; Good use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other computer tools for better analysis of data.

·Assist in RIDMS system maintenance, such as generate reports, dealing with RIDMS Error Log, for better use by LMU managers to clearly receive messages of customers and relevant credit.

·Key contact with HTSC in the RID migration process.

·Assist and involve in different tasks and projects arising from time to time of LMU Team.

·Support the whole LMU team and Head of LMU.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·At least 1 year experience in a financial institution. Credit related experience is preferred (able to conduct financial and operating analysis through corporate management reports)

·Bachelor degree (recognized by the state) and above; major in business, finance, economics or law

·Good computer skills, proficiency in using Microsoft Office, and relevant banking systems

·Be willing to work under pressure and good team work spirit

·Good communication and interpersonal skills

·Good analytical skills and logical thinking

·Organized and details oriented.

·Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
