We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
The role of the Senior development officer is mainly to do the regulatory projects support and development, working with IT internal teams, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure the requirement from FCC/RC are fulfilled Principal Responsibilities
- Develop local regulatory projects and enhancement
- Support existing regulatory reporting and AML systems
- Supporting business initiatives without compromising standards of internal control such that operational risk is not increased beyond acceptable parameters. Ensuring business and IT management understand and accept any inherent risks.
- Anticipating and resolving problems pertinent to the delivery of business and IT project aspects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, high performing team that focuses on delivering exceptional project and programme management services to the HSBC China business
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Over 5 years working experience in complex IT environments
• Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. track record of project delivery (AML, CBRC 1104, PBOC reporting and etc.)
• Past working experience in a relevant role
• Past working experience on regulatory projects is essential
• Past working experience on vendor management is essential
• Role relevant qualifications, i.e.PMP, PMI, Prince II is desirable but not essential
• Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
• Knowledge on open platform/database will be an advantage.
