Global Markets Operations (GMO)

With HSBC’s international reach, Global Markets Operations manages and controls post-trade activity for all Global Markets across 60 countries. With a drive towards infrastructure transformation, a heightened focus on risk and control, and the need to deliver seamless client service, Global Markets Operations plays a dynamic and ever-evolving role in harnessing the latest technology and specialist expertise to move us closer to a globally consistent, competitive and robust operating model.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• To support the process for vaniilla products like FX/MM/Fixed Income/Precious Metals transactions;
• Performing due diligence for transactions including phone affirmation against our records,
• Preparing for settlements including assist/co-ordinate with SD/RMs to settle Markets transactions correctly and with good timely manner,
• Arranging and posting accounting entries & Voucher control
• Conduct confirmation matching for vanilla product transactions traded by Markets including FXMM, Fixed Income, Precious Metals, etc.
• Review Offline Reports for systems including TREATS/HUB/GMG, etc.
• To conduct nostro fund transfer;
• Escalation and follow-up actions for any exceptional cases in a timely manner .

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• University degree or above.
• Strong in priority setting and time management. Willing To work under pressure.
• Good at MS office software (Excel) and other financial reporting system.
• Highly responsible, quick-learning, self-motivated and Highly efficient and with confidence on communication. Fluent verbal and written English.
• Relevant working experience or accounting background is preferred. .
