HSBC Operations, Services and Technology is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. HOST combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

* To assist Regional DM and act as the Branch COO and is accountable for smooth running of the Branch operations including its sub-Branch network.

* To co-operate with Branch manager in daily staff management, risk control, regulatory compliance, regulator relationship maintaining and public affairs.

* To plan, direct and manage all HOST activities in the Branch with particular attention to bank security, operations effectiveness, processing quality and productivity etc and ensure that they are up To the Bank’s standard.

* To ensure that optimal equilibrium be maintained in operational efficiency, quality of customer service and operational risk control so to support business growth within effective risk management.

* To cultivate and maintain cordial relationship with regulators governing the Bank’s business and operations.

* To collaborate with business/function in the Branch for achieving the common goal assigned To the Branch.

* To help functions/businesses to drive Global Standard activities at Branch level and ensure for the cultural establishment and embedment of the controls in the operating processes.

* To maintain and effective implement the relative controls in branches for combating Financial Crime Risk.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

* Bachelor Degree or above recognized by the state

* Minimum 6 years commercial banking experience within which at least 4 years in Managerial level.

* Possessing very sound banking knowledge, understanding on the latest policies, foreign exchange requirement and PRC regulatory boundaries is preferred.

* Experience in people management, and able to find and retain the most suitable people in work in the fast growing and changing environment.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with good command in English and Mandarin.

* Self-motivated with high degree of independence in carrying day-to-day duties and managerial role.
