Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)

Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

By well motivating and leads his/her team to retain and grow their assigned portfolio target;

By being the Professional Representative of the Bank to increase business intake on personal financial products for HP customers;

By managing and developing amicable relationship with target/HSBC Premier customers through frequent personal contact and coaching of the relationship management team performance;

By proactively managing time schedule to initiate customer contacts to cement relationship with premier target customers;

By managing the RM team to actively promote X-referral and GC outbound referral and meet the target;

By monitoring RM daily sales and HML referral activities;

By counseling and guiding his/her team on growing the assigned premier portfolio through proactive relationship management; coach and develop the PRO;

By organizing regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication is achieved;

By providing guidance, counseling, identifying and arranging training needs;

By delivering fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Knowledge / Experience

Proven ability in team leadership and management;

Proven ability in Retail distribution Experience in customer relationship management;

Proven ability in relationship management in the Retail/Wealth sector;

Demonstrate behaviours consistent with HSBC Values;

Proven adherence to controls and compliance with no significant breaches;

Skills

Skills in sales, financial planning and communication;

Sound problem solving skills;

Knowledge of bank and operating platforms;

Industry and sector knowledge;

Knowledge of sales and service techniques and models;

Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating;

Coaching sales techniques, best practice and sales management on a team and one to one basis;

Planning and organizing skills;

Analytical skills.
