Risk

Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

-Manage successful and efficient delivery of credit modeling strategies to assist HBCN RBWM businesses in achieving profit and growth targets (AOP).

-Monitor the performance of deployed models to ensure that highest standards of quality are maintained.

-Enhance and promote modeling best practices in modeling techniques, automation and management processes

-Conduct and experiment with various segmentation and optimization methods in order to improve the accuracy and quality of strategy assignment

-Conduct and experiment new decision analytics techniques to support new credit/marketing strategies

-Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
-Advanced Degree (MA) or (PHD) etc. from related fields
-3+ years related work experience in Retail Risk Analytics industry;
-PHD candidate work experience requirement can be relaxed depending on candidate potential
-Advanced knowledge in statistics and hands-on analytics experiences
-Strong project management skills and solid general management experiences
-English proficiency in listening, reading, speaking, as well as writing.
