Risk
Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:
-Monitor and analysis daily system fired cases to detect any possible fraudulent activities, and
-Contact customers to verify and confirm transactions or stop transactions to minimize fraud loss
-Assist supervisor to prepare statistics for identifying fraud trends and make recommendation for timely actions
-To build up in house application fraud operations to control the fraud risk exposure in credit card, HML and personal loan products.
-To ensure the new fraud modus operandi is reviewed and analyzed, and control weakness is identified and mitigated in a timely manner.
-To assist Application Fraud Operation Manager to ensure fraud operations team works in compliance with related laws and regulations.
-To assist in maintenance constructive relationship with internal strategic partners.
-To complete other work related to transaction fraud operation or assigned by Fraud Operation Manager.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
-Good appreciation of fraud risk management concept and framework.
-Sound experience in application fraud operations and investigations.
-Knowledge and experience in application fraud management of card or general banking are essential
-Possess good understanding of system set-up and be able to make good use of systems / data for fraud trend analysis.
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision, could work under pressure
-Fluency in both written and verbal English and Mandarin.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skill
-Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills
-Good stakeholders, internal and external, management skills
-Shift duty (7*24)
-Professional telephone skills
