Risk
Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:
(1) Assist Branch Management and Branch Compliance-in-charge to carry out Group's RC policies according to FIM.
(2) Support implementing new regulatory requirement and support market entrance matters.
(3) Maintain rapport with local regulators/ Act as the primary contact for engagement with local regulators.
(4) Provide business advisory support and maintain healthy communication with internal customer.
(5) Assist anti-money laundering work by implementing CNQ AML guidelines/requirements and AML requirements of local regulators.
(6) Assist to maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of its occurring
(7) Assist to manage the operational risks inherent in FCC & RC team and reduce the level of operational risk losses and protect the Bank from foreseeable future losses.
Successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
(1) University degree or above in law, accounting or any related majors
(2) Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in banking / financial industry, preferably gained in compliance area
(3) Knowledge of the rules and regulations from CBRC, PBOC and SAFE;
(4) Familiar with banking operations and controls as well as different products and services offered by the bank
(5) Self-motivated, independent with strong analytical abilities and good judgment;
(6) Strong planning, interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal and external parties
