We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

A Collections Recovery and DCA Specialist oversees the overall performance of daily Collections activities for their team or the integrity of governance and controls associated with a specific operational function(s) as an individual contributor. In both cases, the role holder is responsible for ensuring compliance with operational policy, procedures and practices. As a manager with the direct reports, the responsibility of a Collections Recovery and DCA Specialist is to coach, inspire and lead their team in a manner that transfers/enhances desired skills and knowledge, increasing engagement and capabilities for supporting the delivery of positive, appropriate and sustainable outcomes for our customers. For individual contributors, the role holder is responsible for ensuring assigned operational function(s) perform in accordance with defined Collections capability standards.
• To manage performance by integrating external collection agent (DCA) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness to achieve total target.
• To monitor and improve external accounts placement criteria to shorten assigned period and increase successful ratio.
The jobholder major responsibilities are to perform/coordinate back office processes for the collections team. Supports servicing delinquent accounts (Cards, PIL, HML etc.) and improve business results. Given large volume we have in this field and the rapid expansion of the portfolio, the jobholder should can work under pressure and has to be a quick learner by drawing experiences and best practices both internally and from strategic partners.
As the job requires communications with customers or internal counter parties, the jobholder should possess good customer services skills, communication skills, and problem solving skills. The jobholder should also have sufficient banking knowledge on collections or foreclosure, remittance, accounts maintenance, etc., so as to make collections efficient and effective. The jobholder is required to deal with customers under difficult financial circumstances, constantly maintain high quality of services and timely complete follow-up actions.
The job holder is responsible for the VRM process for DCA selection by liaising with all relevant parties, e.g GPU, CMP, LGA, etc, to ensure qualified DCAs are ready to use when the credit card launch. The jobholder should also be involved in the ongoing vendor management including on-site audit to ensure the smooth process of collection outsourcing and good performance of DCA, and prevent customer complains from the vendor and avoid reputation impact.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements:
• University Graduate
• Proficient capability of English and Mandarin (listening, speaking and writing). Cantonese listening and speaking is a definite plus.
• Good PC knowledge and skills (Windows, MS Office, etc.)
• Comprehensive knowledge on the operation of credit cards, personal loans, or mortgage loan products and familiarity with relevant system.
• High effective telephone negotiation skills and strong but courteous telephone manner
• Understanding of compliance related guidelines which affect collections
• Customer centric approach and service excellence mind set
