Sourcingr Manager finds and screens potential vendors based on specific criteria. Accepted vendors are then continuously monitored for quality, SLAs, payment terms, etc.
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for negotiating vendor contracts to improve all aspects: SLAs, costs, quality, payment terms, etc.

 Job Description
1) To set up the service to meet the business need and identify proper vendors
2) To create optimal conditions to ensure lowest possible cost & fulfillment of service levels – ensure the cost effectiveness in the market and maintaining high service level
3) Negotiate and proceed the contracts with new or existing service providers
4) Set up database of potential vendor with different service lane & market rate for potential business development
 5) Manage supplier onboarding process to ensure proper vetting has been performed around suppliers’ capability, capacity, quality and overall health


Responsibilities:
1- Understand business needs to find new service, product, and manufacturing vendors; facilitate effective communication between Engineering and suppliers to create the best possible design
2-Establish & maintain the database of existing/potential vendors. Develop a supplier network based on the principles of Lean;
3-Set up the vendor compliance criteria and audit process
4-Develop and apply criteria for approving vendors, including internal quality control
5- Conduct random audits of vendors throughout year for quality control; audit larger vendors for compliance
4- Manage vendors to ensure high quality, on time, and low total cost; understand and mitigate supplier risk
5- Continuous improvement of vendor management process, including optimize sourcing processes to enable significant volume growth and savings
6-Works with suppliers to develop strategies and tactics for continual improvement on cost reduction, on-time delivery, cycle time reduction, and new product development and quality assurance improvement;
7- Lead the supplier development efforts. Manage supplier scorecard process, identify target scorecard recipients, and drive appropriate supplier engagement to ensure desired improvements and sustainability;
8-Lead strategic sourcing efforts, applying specific, direct focus on building a preferred supplier base. Manage the overall funnel of sourcing activities to achieve desired results;
9-Work directly and indirectly with other coworkers to manage the sourcing and planning/buying process. This could include direct reports requiring supervision, setting goals, coaching, annual reviews and other supervisory activities as required by the company and position.

Requirement
1- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management
2- 4-7 years’ experience in planning or purchasing. Equivalent work experience in manufacturing or project management may also be considered
2- Demonstrated excellence as a sourcing manager, category manager, or procurement manager, or other relevant experience in manufacturing management, manufacturing engineering, buying, production planning, or product development.
3- Demonstrated experience in contractual negotiation
4- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical abilities
5- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
6- Must be fluent in Chinese (oral & written)
7- Must be able to speak/read English fluently
8- Be curios and have good communication skills
9- Process management & supply chain management knowledge;
10- Understand Chinese dangerous goods regulation and industry trends;
11- Will include travel – domestic and/or international
12- Communication and Interpersonal - crisp verbal skills for velocity plus effective listening skills; effective facilitation skills and demonstrates high energy.
13- Execution - persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills. 举报 分享
