Project/Team Introduction:
 
IT Security Management Services will provide Operational Services for IT Security and its Business Partners. Management Servicesisthe ‘Front Door’ to IT Security.
Front Door Engagement-Responsible for managing the IT Security portfolio of projects, and providing project front door consulting i.e. acting as the primary interface for any business requests requiring IT Security expertise and/or delivery.

Job Duties:

The Engagement Consultant will be assigned to a project throughout the lifecycle of its engagement with IT Security.
? Work with the project manager to review the project plan and ensure the required IT Security services are included and planned accordingly with appropriate milestones.
? Coordinate delivery of IT Security services and keep the customer up-to-date with progress.
? Actively monitor progress, hold regular checkpoint meetings: the Engagement Consultant will be the primary point of contact for the project manager. The intention is to keep delivery on track.
? Maintain and update Comet and SAA database to reflect progress, go-live dates or other relevant project updates.
? Act as a point of contact and liaison for the customer: respond to queries, communicate risk and provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with FIMs and Secondary Standards.
? Address any escalations, or if significant issues are identified that alter the scope or remit of the engagement.
? Provide IT Security Completion. Available to answer questions and/or facilitate any required understanding or discussion regarding the IT Security output.
? Provide final RAG update to the SAA database for each activity. Notify and escalate to the ITSA team any amber or red projects.
? Communicate to the IT Security Relationship Management team any information or issues with particular engagements, and share any feedback/views from the Project Manager or Business Area.
? Provide support to the IT Security Engagement Support team as needed i.e. working the email account and Comet Self Service subject to demand and resource requirements.

Candidate Specifications:

The person undertaking the Engagement Consultant role should have, or be working towards, the following skills and experience:
Skills and knowledge – Information Security knowledge and experience; an extensive knowledge of IT security/ISR domains and services. Role relevant qualifications such as ISO-27001 LA , CISSP, CISM or CRISC or Security + is desirable but not essential
Diplomacy - managing expectation and enabling change are desired skills, as the role holder will be the interface between the core IT Security services and the Business/IT so a good level of business awareness is also needed. It will also be valuable to establish a comprehensive network of contacts across IT Security and ISR, throughout the full span of Domains & Services and the Project community.
Communication – excellent written, spoken and soft skills including presentation skills, problem solving, negotiation, and conflict management.
Interpersonal – work effectively by establishing a rapport with other teams.
Project management – ability to plan, organize and control a diverse portfolio of projects. Prince 2 or PMP Certified candidates are preferred 举报 分享
