JOB DETAILS
Job Purpose
? Utilizes multiple procedures, tools and guidelines, performs a wide variety of Proposal & Estimation support duties for assigned business team(s) or functional unit(s).
Key Responsibilities
Do
? Prepare cost effective viable automation technical proposal based on client / tender requirement for heavy industries & process industries by using Rockwell Automation control products
? Prepare Rockwell products & third party products BOM after going through client requirement
? Man hr. estimation for each task
? Prepare bottom-up costing for proposed solution
? Participate in interdepartmental & client meeting for requirement & scope gathering
? Creating scope summary, presentation materials, etc. and submits them for review by appropriate parties as necessary
? Preparing proposal documents with validation through organization recommended tools
? Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary technical, financial and commercial information
? Demonstrates accountability for completing work assignments and meeting commitments and deadlines


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
? B.E/ B.Tech / engineering diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation engineering
? 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in project execution or Proposal engineering
? Must have hands on experience in designing, execution & selection of industrial automation products such as PLC, DCS, VFD, HMI/SCADA, industrial communication ( Ethernet, device net, Field bus, Profibus, Modbus) for heavy industry & process industry
? Very good verbal, written communication & presentation skills
? Familiar with commercial and financial terminologies.
? Knowledge of best design practices, Industry standards and cost effective solutions across globe.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation are essential characteristics.
? Excellent skills on MS-Office package
