Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure timely purchasing orders for prototype at right price. Lead new product launch process throughout the program launch phase from quotation to series production
Work as leader of specialty group to support global sourcing in Asia and contribute to the respective commodity strategy generation and implementation
Build up and maintain synergy with specialty operation in Asia.
Maintains and promotes sound relationships with suppliers and the business community through strict adherence with the principles found in the Code of Conduct pamphlet.
Utilizes sound negotiation and value analysis skills (cost breakdown, cost modeling or benchmark) to reduce overall costs.
Continually keeps abreast of new material and state-of-the-art processing methods and systems associated with parts and processing
Continually keeps abreast of regulations, laws and market conditions that might affect pricing and availability of commodities.
Lead supplier shortage emergency resolving and coordinate supplier quality issue settlement
Be able to support cross regional meeting at night, work long hour and travel frequently as needed to accomplish assigned tasks.

Education:
?Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
?Eight years minimum experience in Procurement as direct material buyer or commodity manager in automotive industry

Experience Required:
?integrity, hardworking and accountability
?Negotiation and Financial analysis
?Fluent oral, reading and written English
?Problem solving methodology
?Knowledge or experience of supplier audit, APQP, PPAP and supplier delivery planning is a plus
