Microsoft’s Enterprise Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a focus on large ERP or CRM implementations. This candidate must demonstrate an advanced mix of skills in project management, strategic business acumen, leadership and technology.

The role requires deep project management experience in a consulting organization, broad technology knowledge and the ability to facilitate the deployment of an ERP/CRM solution across multiple business teams within an organization.

Microsoft Project Managers are key enablers for the success of an engagement orchestrating Microsoft consultants, offshore resources and partner staff. They manage the complete lifecycle of large and complex projects and have a passion for customers that is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. We are looking for leaders, not just Managers, walk the halls, understand what’s happening, lead the team, the customer and delivery partners - you need to have a good grasp of the basics and the personality and experience to be the go-to person for the project

The Project Managers of the Center of Excellence for Dynamics team will act as a coach for project teams engaged in large ERP/CRM implementations. The goal is to improve the project management skills and quality of local/regional teams and Partners who are engaged in critical pre-sales activities for large, complex and strategic projects, and ensure successful project delivery in budget and in time.

The selected candidate will apply solid project management and leadership skills and experience in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. This candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. This candidate must have experience managing multiple teams both on site and remote. Experience in managing global or off shore teams is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate expertise and proven ability in risk management and mitigation. The candidate must also have experience managing within the PMI methods and applying standard methodologies to achieve project results.

As a Microsoft Project Manager, you will help identify, pursue, and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving add-on business within existing accounts. To accomplish this, the Microsoft Project Manager must be effective in fostering executive level relationships. The successful candidate will help translate business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work (SOW).

The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree, or equivalent work experience, including managing complex Enterprise projects. PMI’s PMP Certification is preferred. Qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Project and significant hands-on project management experience in implementations of large scale, global ERP/CRM solutions (such as Dynamics, Oracle, SAP and Lawson, etc.) in multiple industries.

The job will require frequent travel (65% +) a fluent command of English and Mandarin/Cantonese plus Simplified Chinese is required.
