Job Description:
-To ensure that we are able to meet the BOPS 3 Year Strategic Initiatives from a Channel perspective.
-Doubling our BRIC Revenues in 3 years.
-Global Lock in Hydraulics & Hydrology, Structural, Offshore, BrIM, Road Design and Energy Simulation.
-Develop an Ecosystem of Complementors.
-Key must have exeperience and a proven track record managing Channel business in Asia regions, other than just China. i.e. South East Asia, India etc.
-Report to the Global VP for Channel Programs and manage the execution of the Channel Strategy for the Asia Region.
-Work in close cooperation with the Asia SVP, Company Territory Executives, Company Industry Sales Directors and Regional Sales Management to assist them in developing their Channel go-to-market strategies for Asia.
-Manage and coach the Asia Channel Management Team and ensure they all execute effectively against the defined Channel Strategy for their respective regions.
-Plan and execute an aggressive Channel Partner recruitment and development plan in support of the defined industry go-to-market strategies for Asia.
-Be a trusted business advisor to Channel Partners, with the skills and business acumen to develop strategic business plans and to ensure Channel Partners execute effectively against these plans.
-Drive and manage Channel Partners to ensure they meet and exceed their sales quotas.
-Develop a Channel Partners total partnership potential through sales best practice training, coaching and mentoring.
-Engage proactively with marketing to help initiate and drive campaigns to increase Channel Partner leads and ultimately Channel Partner revenues.
-Communicate masterfully and effectively with Channel Partners on new product and subscription offerings.
-Organize, manage and execute Regional Partner Meetings.
-Keep abreast of the competition, competitive issues and products.
Job Requirement:
-10+ years of Senior Channel Management experience operating in Asia with a proven track record of effective Partner recruitment, management and consistent over quota achievement.
-Significant experience coupled with a very strong track record of new Channel Partner recruitment and the development of a sustainable/repeatable Channel business focused operation in Asia, for a leading IT vendor would be very desirable.
-Able to demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen.
-Higher level of education, preferably to Bachelors/Masters degree level.
-Attention to detail and strong problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
-Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work well independently or in a team environment.
-Experience in interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
-Flexible approach to work without a "9 to 5" mentality.
-Familiar with working in an international environment.
-Superior written, communication and presentation skills in English Language.
-Superior written, communication and presentation skills in Chinese (Mandarin).
-Results-driven and passionate about everything they do.
-Willing to travel substantially within Asia.
-Further proficiency in other applicable languages would be a distinct advantage.
