Key Responsibility:

1. Responsible for engineering shop floor 4-shifts operation, organize machine daily repairing to meet production requirement.

2. Recommend and carry out new projects for cost reduction and capacity expansion.

3. Plan and implement preventive maintenance program of plant equipment. Ensure efficient running of production equipment.

4. Maintain up-to-date operation and maintenance procedures/SAP system related to production requirement (drawings, catalogues, and equipment lists, spare part lists).

5. Initiate and evaluate new projects and processes to improve the labor efficiency.

6. Manage plant process improvement activities as well as new machine development, applying automation technology to increase plant productivity.

7. Report progress and completion of new projects and maintain up-to-date record of capital assets.

8. Assist to develop capitals budget and spending plan and prepare Capital Expenditure Request to provide operating departments with capital equipment necessary for production and improvement programs.

9. Ensure compliance with company policies, security measures, safety/health/ environmental standards and good housekeeping practices or all activities under his direction.

10.Establish alternatives and contingency plans to prevent equipment problems.

11.Provide technical support to suppliers/ vendors/ out-sourcing partners.

12.Implement company apprentice training scheme and ensure continued supply of technical staff and mechanic.

Requirement:

1.B.S. or equivalent in Industrial / Production or Mechanical Engineering.

2.Minimum 8 years' experience in maintenance of production facilities/ equipments in which at least 3 years in management position.

Others:

• Strong technology on industrial controls, servos, PLC microprocessors, automated assembly equipment maintenance;
• Basic knowledge of lean six sigma tool and knowledge of statistics on quality analysis;
• FMEA knowledge and skills;
• Good IMS system knowledge;
• Experienced in quality system knowledge and implementation;
• Familiar with SAP system operation;
• Experience on quality improvement project management;
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good problem resolving skill;
• Good command of English;
• Good personal computer skill.
