Job Duties:

1. ? Work closely with business to analyze business requirements and provide viable technical solutions
2. ? Design and develop IT solutions according to HSBC standards and best practices
3. ? Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables
4. ? Prepare documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking
5. ? Development and support for new features and reports
6. ? Conduct system tests and provide support for user acceptance tests
7. ? Conduct system upgrade and new releases

Candidate Specifications:

1. University graduate with degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline
2. At least 6 years' experience in IT with solid knowledge on application development and support
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
4. Experience in Finance and Banking industry would be an advantage
5. Solid experience on Java and SQL coding of stored procedures, functions, triggers is a must
6. Experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server, MQ is a definite advantage
7. Technical knowledge on MS Windows Server, Java, XML.
8. Experience on Workflow product will be an advance
9. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
10. Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines
11. Team player, with strong emphasis on knowledge sharing
12. Willing to work offshore and travel if required
