POSITION SUMMARY:
Design the launch, development, implementation and communication of new department or corporate initiatives that affect companywide change – process, organizational, technology, performance – and contribute to corporate strategic initiatives.

Plan, manage, monitor, control assigned programs (includes multiple sub-projects) to ensure systems are aligned and program objectives are met.

Manage the implementation of multiple, concurrent change initiatives with high visibility to Sr. Management and high impact to the organization.

Support the process improvement mission of the department through the application of a variety of project management methodologies, including Lean Sigma.

Assist the project leader in day-to-day activities of facilitating change effort.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develop work product through full-life cycle – concept, proposal, project, operations.
2. Perform activities required to complete the change process, e.g. planning, scoping, budgeting, analysis, best practice identification and implementation, training materials development and delivery, communications, implementation support and reporting/monitoring.
3. Perform project-planning activities, including project definition and project plan to clearly identify scope, approach, participants, tasks and responsibilities, budget, timeline and quality. Pursue feedback and information for course correction and communicate as appropriate.
4. Track and provide detailed reports of progress against plan, including scope, resources, budget and quality.
5. Monitor level of participation and commitment by project owner, stakeholder and team members.
6. Monitor project status and issues. Recommend solution and may resolve issues.
7. Assess project risk and execute project change control to keep project within the scope and timeline.
8. Serve as key point of contact for articulating schedule and status.
9. Escalate to appropriate party to remove roadblocks and ensure objectives are met.
10. Formally close the project and transition appropriately.
11. Serve as mentor to others on project management practices and deliverables.
12. May perform other project role based on skill set and project resource requirements.
13. Apply Lean Sigma process improvement/efficiency techniques to the underperforming sites as identified by Area Leadership to reduce wasted effort, process lead times and “product” variation.
14. Primary point of contact for questions and developments of New Start Process and Contract Closure process.
15. Performs other related duties as required.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business Administration, Operations Management or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Successful track record of managing multi-dimensional (process, organization, technology, performance) projects across departments (IT, Operations, Finance).
3. Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects of significant financial or organizational impact.
4. Excellent written and verbal communications.
5. Excellent analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills.
6. Strong work ethic.
7. Flexibility and capability to work as project leader and project team member. Adapts easily to changing needs.
8. Competent in using Microsoft suite of products: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project.
9. Other skills may include include:
