ABOUT YOUR ROLE
To implement strategic human resources programs and initiatives, and to address market-level issues with the objective to ensure an effective workforce to achieve business objectives in Greater China.
-Provide world-class HR service to business functions at regional and global level to enable them to achieve target with effective workforce;
-Demonstrate HR values and handle HR related activities in accordance with company policies and legal requirements for Avery Dennison.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
-To partner with the function leaders to support their specific initiatives at local and regional level such as facilitating organization change, building talents pipeline, succession planning but not limited to that.
-To support the functional leaders to build organizational capability including designing right organization, identifying talents, managing development programs and developing competitive reward package to attract right candidates.
-To support on rolling out the global, regional and local initiatives and to ensure the line managers can apply the knowledge and information to their respective function. Meanwhile coach line managers on HR knowledge and HR policies.
-To drive employee engagement to build a highly engaged and passionate organization to support the achievement of company objectives and business goals.
-To be engaged in human resources planning and develop strategy to achieve the short-term and long-term targets.
-Be responsible for providing HR related analysis to business leaders e.g. HR monthly report, staff database update, manpower planning but not limited to these. Meanwhile proactively provide suggestions to ensure organization health.
-Be responsible for offering communication channels to employees to enable them to voice out opinions or concerns meanwhile provide regular feedback to business leaders. Meanwhile be responsible for providing counseling service to staff;
-Be responsible for coordinating with HR functional teams in terms of reviewing personnel policies and guidelines at country level and ensure line managers and employees understanding as well as compliance with legal requirements; anticipate future implication; maintain consistency and equity across the region.
-Be responsible for other ad hoc tasks assigned by direct manager.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
-10 years HR work experiences in sizable multi-national companies, of which 3 years are in managerial level
-Proven success in employee engagement, staff retention, talent management, succession planning, manager coaching and performance management
-Well organized and with good interpersonal and communication skills;
-Be able to work hard and independently with good initiatives;
-With good sense of confidentiality & logical thinking/ Analytical skills;
-With commitment, teamwork spirit and proactive working attitude;
-Good understanding of Greater China Labour Law.
-Fluent spoken and written English & Chinese.
EDUCATION:
-Degree holder, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Management.
