Main Duties:

1.Ownership of the overall PC Branch FGEN ownership for both major and minor lines;

2.Direction setting for team member regarding branch strategy or product specific strategy;

3.Develops, communicate, and implements strategies within the context of agreed guidance from CHO, APAC, or NY;

4.Implements and adapts regional underwriting guidelines, manages the underwriting delegation process, and monitors the underwriting results;

5.Identifies, develops and establishes key producers relationship;

6.Acts as final underwriting resource for the team on branch level;

7.Responsible for new products development and alternate distribution channels as needed, organizes and implements cross marketing with other profit centers wherever possible;

8.Sets performance objectives, evaluates his/her staff, identifies performers and non-performers monitors and manages performance of profit center staff in accordance with matrix principles; supervises, mentors, trains and develops the team.

Candidate Qualifications:
1.University Degree and professional qualification(s);

2.Ability to pursue initiatives with energy and urgency & demonstrate entrepreneurship by finding opportunities and putting them into action;

3.At least 3 to 5 years of Financial Lines underwriting & management experience;

4.Strong local market & industry knowledge, thoroughly familiar with local operating and competitive environment;

5.Proven leadership and people management skills in managing a team;

6.Ability to communicate effectively and work with different levels in the organization;

7.Fluent spoken and written English/Chinese (Mandarin).
