职位描述
Main Responsibilities:
1. In charge of Application Architecture, Development and Support in Central Systems and IT Applications
2. Understand user requirement and system constraints in the current and future systems (Oracle Retail, Data Warehouses, EDI, and Oracle e-business suite); discuss business process / proposals / implementation issues / data security etc. and formulate into system changes and action plans
3. Build and maintain an effective small Application Architecture team to monitor, tune and optimize Servers & Systems Performance
4. Make use of project management skills to control deliverables and measure pre- and post implementation differences to validate project effectiveness and efficiencies
5. Responsible for leading and managing multiple cross-functional work teams relating to the development of innovative application solutions that achieve successful performance goals for the overseeing project plans to ensure milestones and project deliverables are met.
6. Develop working knowledge of application systems and business processes and be able to identify process improvement initiatives and targeted opportunities for improvements in the application.
7. Manage and coordinate the development of new functionality, testing and implementing scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects.
8. Develop the change management procedures and protocols for the department; create and maintain all policies and procedures for all assigned applications, and develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications.
9. Communicates all necessary application changes, enhancements, and procedures to all necessary internal department teams.
10. Liaise with Group IT in Hong Kong for alignment in new functionalities for those Group solutions which require single code set
11. Responsible for planning and ensuring professional development initiatives are met within the team.
12. Work within corporate standards (namely: ROS, ITRM, etc.) to ensure all systems, procedure, hardware and software is set up according to established standards to ensure commonality
13. Assist in IT Governance, Resource Management and IT Security Improvement initiatives
14. Develop, guide and appraise team members within the Central Systems team to ensure that they have the skills to perform their tasks in order to meet the needs of our users.
Scale & Scope:
1. Application development and maintenance in - Oracle Retail, Oracle e-business suite, BO Datawarehouses, Nighbatches for sales upload and store order upload in interfacing to warehouse management systems (WMS)
2. Report to IT Controller
3. 13 specialist reports
4. User department: Trading, Supply, Finance, IA, Operation and Marketing
5. Vendor relationships & service agreements
Main Requirements:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Masters Degree in related field or equivalent work experience is required.
2. 5-8 years working experiences among which with at least 2 years demonstrated supervisory or management experience preferred.
3. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.
4. Must be detail oriented; with strong analytical, organization, and problem solving skills required. Vendor certification preferred.
5. Must possess strong customer service orientation and ability to interact with all levels of users, include: IT management staff, consulting staff, office users, etc.
6. Project management skills and certification such as PMP, Prince2 is a big plus
