General duties/responsibilities of this position will include the following:
? Interact with suppliers to find the best components for the application while containing component costs for both existing products and those products in the development phase.
? Address manufacturing issues of the electronic controls built by the contract manufacturers.
? Maintain electronic control boards that utilize embedded microprocessor with analog and digital circuitry for residential HVAC equipment by creating Engineering Change documents at the direction of the team.
? Review the component library to identify cost reduction ideas or potential changes to existing controls.
? Test the electronic controls to verify they comply with the stringent quality and reliability requirements of Lennox Industries.
? Perform root cause analysis and implement design changes to assure product integrity.
? Communicate project results to the Controls Team leadership staff.

Some travel required; international travel possible.

Job Requirements:
? A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer is required with 3 to 6 years of experience in design of analog, digital, and mixed signal circuitry and embedded microprocessors using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
? Experienced with the electrical circuit board manufacturing process, which includes the SMT, ICT/FFT and burn-in test, etc.
? Experienced with the electrical circuit board evaluation process, it might be EVT, DVT, PVT/MVT and mass production.
? Experienced in utilizing schematic capture and PCB layout software to document your design is a plus.
? Experienced with circuit simulation and PADs PC board layout software is a plus.
? Capable of performing general soldering; operation of scopes, meters and general lab equipment.
? Experienced with environmental and transient condition testing of the electronic controls is a plus.
? Must have demonstrated the capability to multi-task and work on several projects at the same time.
? Demonstrated strong project management skills.
? Need excellent collaboration and teaming skills.
? Have the ability to communicate technical information to the Controls Team management and external suppliers.
? Experience building electronic devices with contract manufacturers is required.
? Proficiently in speaking and writing in English.
? Skilled in using Microsoft Office Products (Word?, Excel ?, PowerPoint ?). Experience with MSProject? is a plus.
? Must be self driven, results oriented.
? Experience in the HVAC or appliance industries is a plus.
? Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems which might be in a remote location is a plus.
? Functional knowledge of Six Sigma principles is a plus.
? Knowledge of serial protocols (TCP/IP, RS485, USB, CAN, Echelon, BACnet) is a plus. 举报 分享
