Position summary

• We are looking for an Industrial Design Engineer to help us create innovative products.
• We thrive on designing great products that delight our customers.
• Working as part of our project team you will bring technical substance and inspiration to our creative efforts to ensure that imaginative but credible solutions populate our ambitious product road-map.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, development, refinement and documentation of innovative and compelling industrial design solutions.
• Sketch initial design ideas; use dedicated computer software (CAD) to produce design specifications, including parts lists and cost.
• Test the design concept by modeling or physical hands-on testing of models.
• Grasp the newest industrial design trend and process technology through different channels, and apply the newest styling concept in new applications.
• Make presentations to project team and present design proposals.
• Identify new ideas, products and/or features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs and keep our product line at the forefront of our industry.
• Work seamlessly with our project teams to ensure that great ideas make it through to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or related areas.
• 5+ years product design experience.
• Strong concept/sketching/design skills.
• Strong visualization in 2D and 3D; strong aesthetic sensitivity and mechanical aptitude.
• 2D/3D modeling proficiency, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Rhino, Solidworks, PROE, AutoCAD, etc.
• Strong mechanical, electronics and surface treatment knowledge.
• Familiar with the properties and process of plastic, sheet metal and other materials.
• Good command of written English, proficiency in oral English is a plus.
• Creative, self motivated, strong teamwork spirit and good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good presentation skills and computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.).

Guangzhou Spengler Automated Vending Technologies R & D Co., Ltd was established in October 2005 and is located in the Guangzhou Science Park.

The company is engaged in the design and development of vending machines and equipment, researching related technologies and manufacturing vending machines for the global market.

Our vending machines provide hot and cold beverages, snacks and fresh foods for large, medium and small public areas. Spengler vending machines are well known for their high quality and technical standard.
