Detail Principal Activities Performed by the Incumbent

• Work with business managers to define business requirement and IT solutions
• Evaluate vendors and solutions based on understanding of business needs, technology trend, global IT architecture, cost and long-term development needs.
• Manage vendors for business application development, according to aligned business needs, schedule and budget.
• Lead multi-function team as project manager by using PMP methodology.
• Present project proposal or status review with senior management
• Define and deploy application support model and process to make sure quick response and stable application platform
• Provide ongoing system supports for the regional and local applications
• Documentation and report in both English and Chinese
• Deliver IT related training to end users
• Develop end user training programs for the BI tools used.
• Provide solutions in BI for end users by helping with enterprise information analysis and design, work with data team to execute design with BI applications.

Incumbent Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above of Computer Science or related major in information management
• 2+ year experience on project management of BI, especially SAP BW projects
• 3+ years experience of SAP BW as data modeler, front-end developer and data warehouse architect.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW and related reporting tools.
• At least 2-3 full life cycle implementation with BW projects
• Familiar with PMP (Project Management) methodology, PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility, spirit of enterprise, and team spirit
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem solving and logical decision-making capability
• Strong vendor management skill
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Skill sets

• Be familiar with business process, data analysis and reporting in Finance or Sales
• Be familiar and has development experience with BW planning modules, like SAP BW BPS, IP.
• Be familiar with ABAP programming
• Be familiar with SAP BW security concept
• Experience with SAP Business Objects and other non-SAP BI tools such as
  Cognos, Hyperion will be helpful
• SAP ECC functional knowledge of core SAP Modules like SD, MM, PP, FICO, would be required.
