职位描述

The Role
Primary responsibility of the role would be to manage the transition to the 3rd party managed Networks services from the operations team in the area of LAN and Wireless LAN. The role is also extended with regional accountability for the overall set of NMC services becoming the key NMC management contact for other GIST teams, CoE and account managers. We expect the successful candidate to gain a good understanding of the overall set of current NMC set of services during the short 3 months learning curve period and optimize service delivery model working with appropriate GIST service manager and NMC in-house operations team. There will be one to four associates based around the world reporting to the role either line or functional if they based outside of GUA.

Key Result Areas
? Defining functional objectives for NMC technical experts and NMC service delivery experts supporting LAN and Wireless LAN services.
? Own vendor relationship with 3rd party vendor in the area of LAN and Wireless LAN services provisioning.
? Key contact point for all operational support activities, deployment projects, process changes and critical incidents impacting the business in the area.
? Key contact point for network security compliance
? Service level definitions, measuring and reporting.
? Statistics / Volume reporting.
? TCO (total cost of ownership) measurement and reporting.
? Manage operations take-on process for new rollouts.

Person Profile
? At least 5 years experience working in infrastructure support role leading big technical area or running complex projects. The role requires fair technical, good support process, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills.
? Strong local and English language skills both verbal and written.
? Strong analytical skills: able to troubleshoot complex problems, and to quickly pick up and handle new technology, architectures and concepts.
? Ability to take ownership of complex problems and manage them through to a successful conclusion.
? Good self-management: well-organised, good time and task planning, good workload management, reliable at meeting deadlines.
? Good interpersonal skills: including good conflict management and an ability to work well with people from different cultures.
? Self-development: motivation and ability to develop and grow, gaining deeper and/or broader knowledge and ability, and developing interpersonal and management skills to take on more responsibility.

Technical Experience
? Broad experience in managing infrastructure technologies, ideally with Networks technology background (e.g. should understand how VLAN's used in LAN environment).
? Good technical understanding of one or many other infrastructure technologies is a preference.
? Knowledge of the ITIL and ITSM concepts (how to measure and manage infrastructure services through effective set of metrics, processes and procedures)

Special considerations:
This job could require up to 4 weeks of travel during the year and will have weekly audio calls outside of normal office hours compensated by either day-offs or late morning starts.
