Background:

The Mars Information Service function serves as digital glue for Mars Inc. through the application of information technology. Mars IS delivers systems and technology to support the business objectives of Mars by providing strategic direction, technical standards, project management and implementation, and ongoing systems and technology support to internal client groups. Center of Excellence is an important division of Mars IS to manage the whole product life cycle services of global applications.


The Application Security & licenses Team is responsible for the process of establishing policies, technical authorization and operating procedures that ensure the security and integrity of the information resident in and transferred via application systems throughout the Company. The Group also provides technical expertise knowledge of SAP security to all on-going SAP related application projects, enhancements or support.

Position Summary:


This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that SAP security is maintained in accordance with information security policies, internal control best practices and achieves established service level agreements for SAP R/3, BW, HR, and CRM systems for the enterprise. This individual will also engage with other IS teams to ensure a consistent approach across multiple platforms for identity and access management. This position is also responsible for ensuring that security monitoring and SoD reporting are conducted in a timely and regular fashion. This position is responsible for working with CoEs, Internal/External Audit, Help Center managers and SoD owners in identifying, reporting and resolving segregation of duty conflicts in ERP systems. This position is responsible for developing and training appropriate support staff on new operational procedures as a result of mergers/acquisitions or the addition of SAP modules. The Security Analyst develops, implements, monitors and maintains global SAP application security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures that are in alignment with the corporate strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:


· Serves as primary resources working on defined project deliverables and project implementation activities to achieve established project timelines.

· Provides day to day security administration support for SAP applications, to ensure the smooth operation of the Company's global ERP systems by working together with 3rd party service provider.

· Develops or revises operational processes for new business initiatives or SAP components involving security administration and monitoring.

· Provides assistance with Help Desk problems when requested, or to achieve service level agreements particularly problems related to application security; provides general Help Desk problem-solving for questions beyond the technical knowledge of the Help Desk staff.

· Trains users in security operations and procedures; trains other IT staff in security troubleshooting and problem solving and as appropriate, updates training material.

· Follows established security-monitoring processes of day-to-day networking and management tasks to ensure the Company's information security policies and technical solutions are maintained at acceptable levels. Follows a routine of security audits of systems based on industry standards, and participates in providing recommendations for corrective actions based on findings.

· Provides technical expertise and support to IT staff, regional Help Centers and IT customers regarding the adoption and implementation of best SAP application security practices.

· Performs security change projects that impact the global reference model or template.

· Maintain the SoD rulebooks and violations in BizRight or VIRSA system.

· Facilitate the ERP information system audit from internal or external auditors.

· Performs special projects or other tasks at the request of the Application Security & Licenses Manager or other members of Mars IS management.

Relevant Experience:


The successful candidate will need to have the following experience:

· 3+ years experience in SAP security area

· Working knowledge of ERP identity and access management solutions.

· Working knowledge of IT related security concepts, internal controls, policies and quality assurance performance measurements.

· A good understanding of the risk and internal controls concepts, as well as proven experiences with SoD concepts and implementation.

· A degree in business, finance or computer science or equivalent is required

· Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manage multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.

· Demonstrated ability to learn new technical skills quickly, and to apply this learning.
