BASIC PURPOSE:

Responsible for the Tier 3 support and improvement of global BI applications and supporting processes to satisfy defined business needs within a BI COE (Center of Excellence) functional domain.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Main accountabilities

·             Lead specific development activities that improve application portfolio
·             Provide template rollout Tier3 support
·             Communicate with business stakeholders during whole development lifecycle
·             Provide quality assurance for new developments

Key activities

-          Develop project plans and timeliness for development and CIP activities
-          Execute delivery of improvements within area of responsibility in agreed time, budget and quality
-          Utilize standard MarsIS development methodologies (EBC, ITIL) in delivery of improvements on functionality/capability
-          Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business users within area of responsibility
-          Provide financial management (forecasting / delivering against budgets) for their improvements
-          Appropriately escalate issues/trends to line management
-          Remain abreast of industry technology and business trends within area of responsibility
-          Develop deep knowledge on technologies within area of responsibility
-          Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
-          Assure that all the quality standards are met and fulfilled
-          Utilize technical and functional expertise to develop solution within area of responsibility

Inform: Incidents, Activity/SLA tracking
