Overview


The incumbent will play a key role in managing a portfolio of technical training programmes such as conversion, IFRS, PRC GAAP/GAAS, CTA, industry awareness and accounting training for Elite in Southern China.


(S)he will assist in identifying technical training needs, designing, delivering and evaluating training courses mainly for junior accountant and assistant manager grades (Grade A - B).


The incumbent will also need to coordinate and implement various awareness seminars and other initiatives to evaluate the technical knowledge competency level of staff to meet the current and future business needs of KPMG China.



Responsibilities

1. Assist in planning and scheduling training courses to ensure training requests are met.

2. Work with managers/senior managers to identify training needs, design training courses and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of training programmes.

3. Facilitate and deliver quality training programmes to B grade and below, covering conversion, accounting training and technical awareness as required to staff.

4. Provide input to programme managers to improve the quality of training courses by monitoring participant feedback and enhancing course materials to fit local business needs.

5. Work with approved external service providers to arrange courses on topics where appropriate.

6. Monitor administrative staff performance to ensure efficient and effective logistic arrangement and good use of training resources.


Qualification

1. University degree

2. Minimum 4 years of audit experience, preferably with relevant training or presentation experience

3. CICPA qualification is essential for an assistant manager working in a PRC office

4. Good knowledge of PRC GAAP and IFRS

5. Strong people skills with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally

6. Strong understanding of the KPMG's key business, priorities and goals

7. Fluency in both written and verbal English and Chinese

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

9. A passion for developing people.

10. Mature and possess a strong sense of responsibility.

11. Able to solve problem flexibly and work well under pressure
