Job Title: Trademark, Attorney, IP Associate
Job Location: Beijing

Main purpose of the role: To undertake a wide spectrum of contentious and non-contentious trade mark filing and prosecution services in China - principally trade mark filing, portfolio management, review, opposition, invalidation, non-use cancellation, administrative litigation, licensing and assignment, as well as experience in unfair competition, trade secrets and other, less common, types of rights.

The Team and your role:

Operating as part of the team, the China office's IP team advises across the full spectrum of IP advice. The team is cohesive, supportive and both with clients and team members highly responsive and focused on obtaining the best outcome.

The team's spread of work is broad (including patent, trade mark and copyright prosecution, litigation and enforcement and the team has proven that it has the sectorial and international expertise to attract work of the highest quality.

The business of the team is growing and we are looking for trade mark attorneys of about 5 years qualified to join us and assist us in delivering the very best client experience. You will work as part of client team with the ability to develop long-term trusted relationships, you will work with the partner and directors across the full range of trade mark work-types and you will have the opportunity to develop your own business development initiatives and improve your professional skills.

Key Skills and Experience:

A solid grounding in trade mark filing and prosecution (commensurate with experience) with an appetite for excellent client service and a desire to be the best they can be.
