POSITION PURPOSE
This role will be a member of the HR team supporting different functions’ daily routine matters which include Compensation & Benefits, Associate Relations and Talent Acquisition.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Support Compensation & Benefits team on the preparation of all necessary documentation such as Personnel Action Form (PAF) for new hires, new promotions, transfers, merit increment, changes to individual associate’s entitlement, etc. for certain levels of associates. Ensure the correctness of the documentations and completion in timely manner.
? Proceed with enrollment process for new hire, includes new hire employment, social insurance, housing fund and other related matters, as well as the termination of benefits for resigned associates.
? Calculate payroll-related expenses for junior level associate who has resigned or terminated.
? Set up and maintain associates’ personal-file and ensure they are completed and updated
? Responsible for doing basic verification on associates’ request for different types of certificate and issuance of the certificates.
? Support Talent Acquisition team for candidate sourcing activities, which include internal and external job posting, resume screening for junior level positions. Maintain existing resume database and ensure an organized, up-to-date filing is maintained for resumes of all potential candidates. Conduct phone interview and handle fact to face interview appointment with candidate for junior level positions.
? Support the onboarding process and new hire orientation related tasks to ensure a good onboarding experience of new associates.
? Support Associate Relations team on the logistic of monthly Recognition Party and Townhall meeting and other projects that includes, but not limited to Special Working Hour System application and renewal, annual Labor Audit, Starwood Cares and Employee Satisfaction Survey.
? Maintain the associate information in HRMS and ensure the correctness and up-to-date
? Be aware of confidentiality in HR; Ensure the timely and confidential management of employee data
? Deliver service excellence to all associates by responding in a professional, accurate and timely manner to all enquiries and requests
? Any other duties that may be assigned by the Associate Director of HR from time to time

TECHNICAL/JOB-SPECIFIC COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
? Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
? Good command of both verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required
? Attention to detail and accuracy is critical and ability to multi-task
? Ability to work extended hours to meet project/task datelines
? Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
? Proficient in Microsoft suite of products with special emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education and Related Experience
? Diploma degree and above; Professional certification in Human Resources management is preferred
? Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on HR experience in a multi-national organization
