Job Function
An opportunity exists for a high caliber person to lead the Centre of Excellence (COE) - Enterprise Planning (Apollo) and Demand & Innovation (Radar, PPM) Support Team. As part of the Global COE, this position will manage support delivery and continuous improvement developments for the Supply & Demand planning area.
A key component of the role is to champion best practice across Asia, in terms of business process for supply and demand planning. The jobholder is likely to have held key supply chain planning management roles but who also has an interest in developing IT management skill and a career in IT leadership.
In addition the role will line manage the Demand & Innovation Support team (covering RADAR and PPM) for Asia Pacific region across Chocolate, Petcare and Food segments.
Accountabilities/Objectives
· Work with our business units to develop best practice supply and demand planning processes, from a business perspective.
· Engage our customers across Asia Pacific. Develop strong relationships and provide service management of our IT support service.
· Focus on activities to improve the efficiency of the team and processes as well as contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Guangzhou COE.
· Build a high performing and highly engaged team (for 4 direct reports).
· Manage daily operational support for live sites in Asia Pacific region. This will include measurement of service levels, incident management, problem investigation and resolution and handling crisis. The focus is on minimizing business disruption.
· Manage area financials in-line or exceeding against agreed targets.
· Work with the Global COE to execute global initiatives. Also contribute to global process and ways of working improvements.
· Facilitate Regional Input of CIP requests into Global CIP. Deliver local and global system enhancements and support business change initiatives, as approved by Global COE.
· Manage Global and Regional change activities in partnership with Global COE Support, Development and Business Process Owner managers.
Qualifications/ Experience
· Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain, Demand Planning and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes, ideally within FMCG (consumer packaged goods) industry.
· Experience of use or IT support of JDA - Manugistics would be a benefit.
· Capable and flexible to develop IT knowledge and leadership.
· Excellent Service management skills
· Demonstrated line management capability
· Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment and manage multiple activities and priorities is necessary.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills (Good English mandatory);
· Strong leadership and a team player
