Sourcing Associate
Based: GZ office
Supervise: Sourcing Supervisor
Main Function: EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY SOURCE ON ALL PROJECT INQUIRIES FROM HEADQUARTER LEADING TO A SUCCESSFUL PURCHASE.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPOSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
？Assist senior manager in the areas of sourcing, RFP process, project management, product development, and coordinating all related activities
？Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals
？Review and negotiate contracts to minimize risks and maximize profits
？Maintain & provide updates & feedback to management on projects
？Collaborate with R&D, product mangers, marketing, planning & quality control personnel
？Prepare cost analysis with related market study
？Sample collection, preparation and evaluation
？Ensure all standards as defined by the Sourcing department are followed and enforced
？Periodically update projects progress
？Participate in sourcing trip for tradeshows and factory evaluation, and all related follow up purposes
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
？Proficient in written and verbal communication in English & Mandarin Chinese.
？Clear understanding of the sourcing functions, logistics, import regulations, quality control, and regulatory compliance issues.
？Able to handle responsibility assigned accurately & efficiently in an organized manner
？Eager to learn and willing to share, taking part to create a winning team
？Thorough and meticulous with great attention to details
？Experienced in manufacturing process
？Excellent project management skills
？Proven negotiation skills
？Excellent relationship management skills
？Strong skill in use of Microsoft Office
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5-year plus of strategic sourcing & project management experience. Experience in overseas buying.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferable with focus in international business.
TRAVEL
some travel required. Must be able to travel internationally.
