Job Position: Logistic Manager
Location: Jiangmen, Guangdong
Report to: General Manager
Our client is a sizeable multinational company in the packaging industry. They are looking for a Logistic Manager to lead, manage, and motivate a team of individuals in managing the company’s warehouse and logistic activities.
PURPOSE
The Logistic Manager is responsible for the effective management / coordination of the Warehouse and Logistics team, so that its operation will be in line with other departments in the company, the strengthening of the FIFO concept, and the gradual improvement of the workflow of the Logistics function.
The manager will oversee all warehouse and logistics operation of company facilities in the country.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· To oversee and coordinate the management of warehouse and logistics function in order to support the needs for current business development and future planning;
· To develop and prioritize warehouse and logistics work processes in order to enhance the effectiveness of the warehouse and logistics team;
· To develop plan for the Warehouse and Logistics Centre, including its daily management;
· To manage the Warehouse and Logistics team, including the effective deployment of personnel, management of warehousing and dispatching of materials, parts, and finished products, maintenance and control of detailed inventory records, management and monitoring of logistics operators;
· To manage the customs team in clearance and declaration of all import and export of goods;
· To manage the duty-paid and bonded warehouses according to Customs regulations;
· To carry out any other tasks on assignment basis needed for business development from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· logistics professionals with background in the computer management software (MFG / ERP) with have priority;
· ability to communicate in English;
· skilled in office computer software applications;
· 5-8 years MNC work experience;
· excellent control, coordination and leadership ability to co-ordinate the management of the team;
· good communication skills;
· skilled in computer operation;
· outstanding ability to handle pressure and with strong career orientation.
