Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the safety of users, at The British School of Guangzhou Swimming Pool during lessons, extra curriculum and out of school hours swimming and water activities.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as required.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations as appropriate.
- Set the pool up as per the requirements of the activity –lanes, equipment.
- Perform various maintenance duties to maintain a clean and safe facility including changing rooms and surrounding area as well as the pool in compliance with Health and Safety regulations. These may include, but are not limited to, cleaning the pool, controlling the chemical levels and other plant equipment associated with the pool.
During non-swimming activities, assisting the PE Department in lessons and administrative duties that are appropriate and reasonable.

- Swimming Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Swimming Coaching

- Experience working with children
- Familiar with Swimming Pool equipment
- Communication skill in English
