Position Summary:
1. The role is responsible for co-working with cross functional teams who provide program management supports for mechanical LCP suppliers and maintain strategic suppliers alliance relationships.
2. This person will also help develop and execute the Value Add mechanical commodity strategy and will direct communications between Lexmark and the external supply base.
3. This person is responsible for the results of the team with regard to cost savings, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management, new supplier development, contract management and execution, commodity strategy realization.
Responsibilities
? Develop and execute the overall Lexmark LCP’s commodity strategy.
? Develop and apply consistent contractual terms and conditions across the supply network.
? Develop and execute a process and methodologies for assuring appropriate supplier load balancing to protect against risk and drive a competitive environment.
? Establish metrics for and conduct supplier performance evaluations with corrective action requirements and productivity targets.
? Drive a strong interface process with the cross functional teams & SRM team.
? Take a leadership position to drive new supplier development and total cost model development.
? Develop a seamless communication process with Product Development leadership.
? Deliver against overall financial performance objectives for the Commodity team.
Minimum requirements
? 8-10 years broad business experience with program management, operations management and supply management leadership assignments. At least 5 yrs in project manager/supervisor/managerial role.
? BS required (desired in Technical or Business field), MBA preferred. Excellent English communication skills.
