Due to the continuous growth of the company, Booking.com is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Workforce Planner to join our Customer Service team in Amsterdam. Our team consists of over 3000 international professionals working 24/7 in twelve global sites covering more than 40 languages.
As a Workforce Planner you will be responsible for staffing and scheduling Customer Service Employees and Support Staff. You will also assist in processing reports and provide support for our Customer Service Department to ensure that we are meeting our Service level targets and goals.
Operational Responsibilities:
Accountable for the preparation and publication of future schedules;
Administration of changes in the work schedule;
Processing of holiday requests;
Creation of ad-hoc schedules;
Ensure coverage of telephone lines throughout the month;
Identify and resolve potential staffing issues;
Provide feedback for future language hiring needs as well as attrition reporting;
Assist/collaborate with Customer Service Management to achieve and maintain KPI’s;
Maintenance, collection, and tracking processes for relevant data;
Maintain appropriate records of contacts and results on a daily basis;
Timely provide a variety of reports.
Skills/experience required:
Prior experience and operational knowledge in Workforce Management is a must;
Excellent communication skills are essential as you are the first point of contact for the team, liaising directly with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of being able to balance business needs versus employee needs;
Outstanding analytical skills and ability to see trends and patterns in data;
Knowledge of reporting methodology, principles and procedures;
Significant experience utilizing Excel and Microsoft Office applications;
Strong planning, time management and organizational skills;
Relevant experience working with WFM-tools such as NICE IEX Workforce Management preferred.
