Job Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership through the software development lifecycle for developing and implementing IT solutions to meet business users' requirements on BO related projects.

- Manage the development team in Guangzhou, whilst working together with the Development Team in Kolkata closely on joint development and maintenance projects.

- Maintain and follow development standards and guidelines to ensure good quality of delivery.

- Provide input to technical and solution design for development projects, as well as review code from less experienced developers.

- Coordinate development activity into projects.

Candidate Specifications:
- 3+ years exposure to Business Objects technologies design and development or equivalent Business Intelligence solutions (mainly in report design)
- Good understanding of data mining technology.

- Good understanding of SQL, relational databases, optimization and indexing

- Experience of Oracle/SQL Server development or maintenance is an advantage.

- Strong English communication skills (both oral and written)

- Accuracy and timeliness of delivering solutions using coding standards and practices

- Ability to collaborate with individuals from all levels within the IT community

- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, proven fast learner and strong team player

- Structured worker able to efficiently manage multiple tasks

- Takes ownership of tasks assigned to ultimate resolution

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Willing to travel to Hong Kong/India if required
