Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing with management, financial plans and forecasts, which consolidate into an overall corporate budget and form part of the corporate business plan.
- Responsible for conducting financial analysis to interpret trends and variances from budgets and standards, and advise in accordance with established financial policy.
- Responsible to prepare timely and accurate financial analysis of operations over and above standard financial reporting, and prepare these for the local management team and corporate locations.
- Responsible for maximizing cash flow and profits through inventory valuation and management.
- Responsible to develop and monitor capital expenditure budgeting by considering project & financing costs, cash flow and return on investment. Review existing capital investments to justify viability.
- Responsible to maintain the company’s system of accounts and ensure that accounting records are prepared, maintained and reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and that the ledgers reconcile.
- Responsible to develop and maintain cost information that can be used to guide decisions in support of the company’s goals, objectives and strategies.
- Responsible to develop and maintain an internal control structure, which ensures that the integrity of information is maintained in all the financial and accounting functions.
- Responsible to develop, analyze and interpret accounting and statistical information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing in the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the company.
- Responsible for instituting and maintaining other planning and control procedures, including the cost-accounting system. Will further analyze and report on variances.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-8 years’ strong financial management experience within a manufacturing environment. A proven track record in leading and managing the entire spectrum of finance and accounting activities.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including negotiating skills.
- Incites trust, confidence, credibility and respect in all working relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, technical, strategic-planning and analytical skills.
