Your tasks:
- To support the supplier base development strategy by the implementation of processes such as supplier approvals, supplier qualifications, supplier evaluations and supplier development.
- Planning, executing and controlling of international and local supplier audits and assessments, effective tracking and implementation of the resulting tasks.
- Monitoring and regular reporting of the quality performance of suppliers on global standards and help drive continual improvement.
- Be the main point of contact for controlling the delivery situation of our suppliers regarding quality effects and implementation of process optimizing actions between VIS and our suppliers.
- Forwarding complaints to our suppliers and following up the problem solving progress according to 8D rules to ensure the security of supply in case of complaints.
- Agreement of quality standards, QAA´s, specifications, Q&V’s between suppliers and VIS and to ensure compliance to these agreements.
- To apply escalation management in the case of time and quality deviations
- Supports on overall coordination and support for qualification and validation activities for outsourced products
- Coordination of tasks for incoming inspection in region AA.
- Reports to Head of Supplier Quality Management, located in Europe/Germany.

Your qualifications:
- Successfully completed academic degree in engineering, economics or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in quality in relevant industries such as automotive, medical or aerospace technology, preferably in a supplier quality role
- Sound understanding of quality management systems . Qualification as a Lead quality auditor, ISO 9001, ISO19011, TS16949 or ISO 13485 as well as experience using relevant quality methods, tools and processes e.g. APQP, QRQC, 8D, Six Sigma, CAPA.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is required
- Willingness for international and domestic travel
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
