TITLE

Tax Manager

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The person in this role will be responsible for all tax related operations including, but not limited to:

Perform technical tax analysis, tax advice, planning and reporting for areas of responsibilities;

Be responsible for all the compliance control and review for China entities, such as VAT, BT, IIT, etc;

Be responsible to communicate with tax authorities on income tax, turnover tax and other tax related matters including tax audits.

Assist with the coordination of tax related inquires and investigations of all Oracle companies in China by PRC tax authorities;

Responsible for liquidation of integrated entities;

Review inter-company transactions and control the tax risk; and

Assist in transfer pricing documentation.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING

Minimum 6 years tax experience obtained working as a full time tax professional for multinational, or in one of the Big Four;

Significant tax and financial knowledge and experience in the area of direct taxation, together with an understanding of the interaction with indirect taxes;

High level of knowledge regarding the interaction of indirect taxes, particularly VAT and business tax and how these impact the businesses in China;

Thorough knowledge of business controls in a tax environment;

Thorough knowledge of tax accounting in Group Accounts;

Ability to organize and manage many tasks simultaneously;

Strong leadership & coaching skills;

Sound judgment and good interpersonal skills;

Comprehensive understanding of Oracle financial accounting and reporting directives;

Strong communication skills and can demonstrate necessary authority in different situations; and

Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and dedicated.

COMPETENCIES

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax;

Qualification of Certified Public Accountant or Certified Tax Agent;

Fluent in PRC accounting principles, tax regulations & tax practices; and

Fluent in English, written and oral.
