职位描述
Manage all aspects of engineering including, but not limited to, manufacturing- & process- improvements, super vision of launch of new programs and quotations of new programs. This role will also be responsible for the on-time and in-budget completion of all customer deliverables for these programs.
-Oversee and support the program management function from the receipt of the order until PPAP is approved, ensuring a timely and cost effective steady state of production is achieved.
-Overall project responsibility of all programs from initial feasibility assessment through to production. This includes prototyping ,analytical analysis and coordination with other departments (i.e. Quality Assurance, Production, Sales) as required.
-Facilitate benchmarking activities to continuously improve product design, manufacturing processes, product quality and to reduce manufacturing cost.
-Familiar with the customer engineering procedures.
-Customer liaison to ensure that all customer needs are achieved.
-Responsible to ensure accurate and timely support for quotations including equipment, tooling, manpower, gauging, floor space and time lines, for new programs, existing program expansions and engineering changes through all phases of APQP.
-Work on specific engineering projects as directed by the General Manager with particular emphasis on time completion and cost efficiency while complying with all QS9000 / TS16949 and APQP requirements.
-Provide engineering support to other departments within the Company as directed by the General Manager.
-Champion the contacting of new suppliers and subcontractors; together with other team members, choose suppliers for tooling, equipment, components, services, etc. and ensure that MPT-Suzhou's expectations (environmental, health and safety, quality, price and delivery as a minimum) are clearly understood and accepted.
-Initiate plans and ideas for cost reduction and/or quality improvement measures.
-Supervise all members of the engineering team providing direction, guidance, support, motivation and assistance.
-Financially accountable for department budget.
-Prepare and participate in customer presentations.
-Some travel outside the city/country is to be expected. "Off-site"work at a customer location or similar facility for different periods of time may be required.

?- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
?- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
?- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
?- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
?- Technical Understanding
?- Possesses general understanding in the areas of new programming.
?- Possesses a thorough understanding of internal capabilities.
?- Maintains awareness of emerging situation and the potential risk on programming.
Qualification
?- University degree/college diploma and above
?- 5 years direct Automotive work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process
development and execution.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
?- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
?- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
?- Flexible during times of change.
?- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
?- Strong written and oral communication skills.
?- Seating JIT or structure program experience is a plus.
?- Technical background experience is a plus.
