POSITION OVERVIEW
Entail the evaluation of supplier's financial risk along with risk mitigation strategies for troubled suppliers. Provide strategic and tactical counsel and guidance to Purchasing regarding Supply Risk Management. Work with lawyers and buyers to reduce the troubled supplier expenses.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Periodically audit the existing suppliers regarding financial status, identifying potential risk of financial distress
and/or insolvency at suppliers.
? Visit new suppliers with sourcing buyer, evaluating supplier's financial stability and provide expertise counsel to
sourcing council.
? Undertake studies on special issue impacts to regional supply base and provides reports back to Management.
? Disseminate and rolls out globa SCRM initiatives to local markets and commodity teams.
? Work with group purchasing to develop strategies to lower the risk to Company on suppliers deemed to be at risk.
? Responsible for the development and implement of Supply Chain Risk Management system & procedures.
? Working closely with Global Supply Chain Risk Management Team.
QUALIFICATION
? BS or above in accounting or finance, CPA and/or CMA license would be a plus.
? 5-8 years working experience in automotive industry and at least 5 years experience in accounting, controlling.
? Able to analyze Chinese financial statements as well as statements compiled according to international standards
(GAAP, IFRS etc.)
? Understanding what is the common accounting procedure and bookkeeping standard during the year (accrual,
inventory account, etc.).
? Able to conduct on-site audit at suppliers via discussions with the top-management in face to face meetings.
? Self Motivated, result driven /goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency.
? SGood computer skill, and sound presentation skills at all levels. Be able to read blue print.
? Good English skills (oral & writing communications).
